Easter Party raises over £400 for The Mustard Tree

Friday, October 21, 2011
Railston held an Easter party for staff and their families in Thursday 21st April. There were bouncy castles, a BBQ, cakes, Easter egg hunt, games, entertainment, face painting and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

The event raised over £400 for charity, which is a great achievement. Thanks go to Sarah Clarke and Julie Robinson for organising the event and also to those who volunteered to run the stalls. Thanks also for the cake donations which were greatly received.

Pictures to follow shortly...

Great Advertising

Friday, October 21, 2011

The T-Mobile "life is for sharing" advertisements have been well received and greatly enjoyed. If you have been living underground for a while and have missed them, we are talking about the adverts that see people bursting into seemingly unplanned song in very public places.

The newest incarnation is a purely online advert proclaiming "One's life is for sharing". It features Royal family look-a-likes dancing their way down the isle in a very un-Royal manner, reminiscent of many of the wedding dance videos that have gone viral.  Well done T-Mobile it's great!

Hot Topic: The Royal Wedding

Friday, October 21, 2011
Everyone is talking about the Royal Wedding, ourselves included. We're so delighted that, as you may have seen briefly on our home page, we've done a special tribute. Below is a small version of the image:

If the taster you get on the home page and the small version here just isn't enough, you can go to our facebook page:

Railston loves the ipad

Friday, October 21, 2011

Railston are always looking at how to do things better and recently the iPad has been trialled as an alternative to the laptop to use when out of the office. Numerous benfits have been identified, including faster communication and easier access to files. The iPad allows an enhanced view of documents and drawings when onsite and is easier and quicker to use than the laptop. There are a number of apps that will be used to bring these efficienies to life and, following a short trial period, these applications will be incorporated into standard working practices - Angry Birds is not one of them as yet...

As a result  we decided to alter our animation in the reception area to resemble that of an iPad advert. The animation not only welcomes quests but gives them something good to look at whilst waiting, not to mention it keeps them up to date with our newest projects such as Azendi, JD Sports, Everything Everywhere and High and Mighty. Here are a few screen grabs, but for a better look just drop in for a visit!

Check out our NEW brochures!

Friday, October 21, 2011
With all our lovely new clients, teamed with our new look, it seemed about time for new brochures. As our business has grown, we have diversified, and now offer services to: retail, office, shop in shop, international and boutique interiors. With extensive experience in all it seemed only fitting to create a brochure for each. This will help our clients, and hopefully potential clients, see exactly how we can help with specific reference to the issues facing each sector. Also, being that we are fully committed to the digital age the brochures are interactive flipbooks. This makes them easily accessible and it allows you to zoom, flick and search for key words. The brochures are sat in the individual sections on the website...

Neil & Geoff did especially well with a time of 1hr 56 minutes, which is under a 9 minute mile!  Especially well done to Geoff who did not do a single prep run and just pitched up and did it... Railston doubles any money that we raise which means as of today we've met 82% of our £5,000 target! There's still time to give at:
